Back To School: Physical Readiness

Travis Plumlee – Each child is unique, just like adults. Not every adult needs the same amount of sleep. However, generally speaking, adults need about eight hours of sleep a night to function properly, and to give their body adequate rest. Deviating very far from this causes all kinds of health problems. Your children require even more sleep because their bodies are growing rapidly and they are very active. Many behavioral problems kids experience can be traced to a lack of adequate sleep.
