I have enjoyed the opportunity to visit many churches over the last month. On June 26, I was invited to share about the ministry of the Trumpet as well as given the opportunity to preach at First Baptist Church in Newark with Pastor Bill Goodwin. This is a great church that has been a faithful supporter of the Trumpet. This past Sunday (July 17), I was privileged to be with Central Baptist Church in Prescott. I was able to share about the Trumpet and preach as well. I am thankful for Pastor Roy Johnson and the faithful support of this church.
I have a few other visits scheduled over the next couple of months. If you would like me to come to share about the ministry of the Baptist Trumpet with your people, please let me know, and we will get something scheduled. I am also looking forward to the local association meetings that are coming up soon where I will get to see many of you.
Special Emphasis Almost Over
While the time set aside for our Special Emphasis (March & April) has long passed, we do still count all special offerings we receive before the end of the fiscal year (Aug. 31) toward our goal. While they are not just rolling in, we have received some very generous offerings over the last few weeks that help us get a little closer to our goal.
Thank you to each of you — individuals and churches — who have donated this year. It is not an understatement to say that without your support we would not be able to continue this ministry of keeping our subscribers “informed and inspired.”
As of today, we are still a little over $14,000 away from meeting our goal for the year. Please prayerfully consider if you can help us finish the fiscal year strong by helping us meet our Special Emphasis goal.
