As summer settles in across the Central Baptist College campus, the pace noticeably slows. The hallways are a little quieter, the parking lots a little less crowded, and the daily rhythm of campus life eases after another successful academic year. Yet while summer may appear calm on the surface, it is one of the busiest and most important seasons for planning, preparation, and anticipation as we look ahead to the fall semester.
Across campus, faculty and staff are already hard at work preparing for the arrival of students in August. From academic planning and facility improvements to student services and campus events, every department is focused on ensuring the 2026-2027 academic year begins with excellence.
For prospective students still considering their college options, there is time to become a Mustang. Applications for fall 2026 are still being accepted, and our admissions team remains available throughout the summer to assist students and families as they navigate the enrollment process. Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions a student will make, and we are honored that so many students continue to consider Central Baptist College as the place where they will pursue their academic goals while growing in their faith. For questions or assistance, please contact our Admissions Office at (501) 205-8839 or admissions@cbc.edu. Campus tours continue throughout the summer by reservation. A personal visit remains one of the best ways to experience CBC’s unique culture. During a tour, prospective students and their families can explore campus, learn about academic programs, visit residence halls, and discover firsthand what makes our Christ-centered community so special. We encourage anyone interested in CBC to schedule a visit and see why so many students choose to call this place home. Interested in seeing CBC for yourself? Schedule a tour at cbc.edu/visit.
While admissions activities continue, preparations are also underway for one of the most exciting times of the year — Welcome Week. Move-In Day is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, and our team is already working diligently to prepare for the arrival of a new class of Mustangs.
There is something special about Move-In Day. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for students and families. It is a day filled with anticipation, excitement, nervous energy, and countless opportunities. New friendships form, future leaders begin to discover their calling, and students take their first steps toward a transformative college experience.
Following Move-In Day, Welcome Week will provide new students with opportunities to connect with one another, become familiar with campus life, and begin building relationships that often last a lifetime. Plans are beginning to take shape for several favorite traditions, including team challenges, special themed dinner nights, MUD (Mustangs Under Development) Night, and the always popular Blue Party.
These activities are designed to help students feel welcomed, connected, and engaged from the moment they arrive on campus. More importantly, they provide opportunities for students to become part of the CBC family and begin building the relationships that will support them throughout their college journey.
One of the greatest strengths of Central Baptist College has always been our community. We believe students thrive when they are known, encouraged, and challenged both inside and outside the classroom. Welcome Week is the first opportunity for students to experience a sense of belonging and discover what it means to be part of a Christ-centered campus community.
As we enjoy the summer months, we are also eagerly anticipating the return of students and the beginning of another academic year. God continues to bless Central Baptist College in remarkable ways, and we are excited about what lies ahead.
To those who have already chosen CBC, we look forward to welcoming you to campus in August. To those still considering their college plans, there is still time to apply, schedule a tour, and discover all that Central Baptist College has to offer.
We cannot wait to welcome a new generation of Mustangs to campus and begin another year of faith, learning, growth, and purpose.
