One of my favorite times each summer is connecting with students, youth pastors, and families at SOAR. As SOAR 2026 approaches in Norman, Okla., our Central Baptist College team looks forward to another incredible week of building relationships and sharing what makes CBC such a special place.
If you’ll be attending SOAR this year, I hope you’ll stop by the Central Baptist College booth. Whether you’re beginning your college search or making your final decision, we’d love the opportunity to meet you, answer your questions, and help you discover how CBC can prepare you for the calling God has placed on your life.
Our personal admissions officers will be available throughout the week to meet with prospective students and parents to discuss academics, campus life, scholarships, financial aid, residence life, and everything that comes with becoming a Mustang. No matter where you are in the college search process, we’re here to help.
One of the highlights of SOAR each year is the opportunity to earn scholarships, and this year is no exception. Central Baptist College will award three $10,000 SOAR Scholarships during the event. If you’re considering CBC, be sure to stop by our booth to learn how to qualify and take advantage of this incredible opportunity. It could be the first step toward your future as a Mustang.
While you’re at our booth, be sure to pick up a free Central Baptist College T-shirt while supplies last. You’ll also have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win several fun giveaways throughout the week and learn more about the scholarship opportunities available at CBC.
You never know who might stop by the booth, either. I’ve heard that a certain Mustang named Maverick may make a few appearances during the week! If you see him, be sure to stop for a photo and say hello.
At Central Baptist College, we believe college is about much more than earning a degree. It’s about growing in your faith, finding a Christ-centered community, building lifelong friendships, and preparing for a lifetime of service and leadership. Events like SOAR give us the opportunity to start those conversations and introduce students to a place where they can truly belong.
Our team is excited to meet students from across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and beyond. We look forward to hearing your stories, answering your questions, and sharing how God is working through Central Baptist College.
If you’re attending SOAR 2026, don’t leave without stopping by the CBC booth. We can’t wait to meet you, visit with your family, and welcome you into the Mustang family.
Safe travels to everyone making the trip to Norman. We’ll see you at SOAR!
