Life is full of turning points. Times change, which prepares us for the road ahead, that we may fulfill God’s purpose in our lives. Sometimes we may have mountains to climb, and we wonder why God would open such a door for us. After serving on the mission field in the Philippines for the past 14 years, we wonder why God has opened the door to such an amazing opportunity to serve Him in a different setting. Our love for the Baptist Missionary Association Bible College of the Philippines goes back many years, even before our missionary days. I will continue to assist the administration of the BMABC until my replacement is on board. Advanced technology enables us to achieve communication goals that were previously impossible. The Board of Trustees, faculty and staff are the best. They are most capable of serving with confidence in the position they hold. “Parting with them is such sweet sorrow.” They have achieved excellence in their training, which has put me out of a job!
What a great opportunity to serve the Lord in the capacity of President of Southeastern Baptist College (SBC) in Laurel, Miss. It is a great honor to follow in the footsteps of such a prestigious group of past SBC presidents. As alumni of SBC, for Diane and me to take this position is an incredible privilege. Please be in prayer as we transition to our role at SBC beginning August 1.
We are excited to see how God is going to use each of our faculty, staff and student body. Luke 12:48 tells us, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.”
My priorities are the continuing development of the Theology, Music, Athletic, Elementary Education and Business departments. One of my future goals is to establish an active internship program. We desire to work closely with the churches of the BMA of Mississippi. If you would like me to visit your church, please contact the SBC office at (601) 426-6346 or call my cell phone at (601) 916-5542.
Funds Distribution
A big shout-out to all of our faithful supporters who have supported us, the Bible College and the native missionaries with whom we have partnered. We kindly request that you continue your monthly support for the Bible College and student scholarships. You may continue your payment method to the BMA Global, P.O. Box 878, Conway, AR 72033, or to our home church, Mill Creek Baptist Church, 11 Old Kiln Road, Picayune, Miss. 39466. Nothing has changed in the way the funds will be transferred. If you are presently contributing to our personal support, after July 31, we ask that you prayerfully consider designating that donation to the BMA Bible College in the Philippines. Just label your check to BMA Bible College-Doug and Diane Lee.

Kenya Conference
God has opened doors for us to make a mission trip to Kenya in July. We will be teaching a conference in Kenya for the pastors and their wives. Doug will be teaching the pastors on “Leadership and Stewardship,” and our sister-in-law, Sue Husser and I will teach the ladies on “The Role of Women in the Church” and “Sisters in Service.” We are excited to teach and train at this conference. Pray for a safe trip for us and that God will use us as His instruments to carry the gospel to Kenya.
Please be in prayer for the Kenya Bible Conference, the Students, Staff and Faculty of BMABC, and for continued financial support.
