In honor of the Baptist Missionary Association of America’s 75th anniversary, BMA Seminary’s Spring lectures series for 2025 included two speakers presenting on “The Importance of Associationism.” BMA Seminary and Jacksonville College hosted the lectures.
Dr. Thom South, pastor of Eastside Baptist Church in Conway and BMA Seminary professor of Theological-Historical Studies, spoke during the first lecture on defining “Church” and “Association.” South’s second lecture was entitled “Biblical Basis and Benefits of an Association.”
Jacksonville College President Dr. David Erickson and former BMA Seminary professor of Theological-Historical Studies presented “A History of the BMAA” during the third lecture. Erickson’s presentation focused on events leading up to the BMA’s founding in 1950.
Video recordings of each lecture are available for viewing at the BMA Seminary’s website at bmats.edu/videos.
