National Galilean Camp Relocates and Combines with Arkansas Camp

By Dan Williams, National Director • Galileans

National Galilean Camp had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to a scheduling conflict at our original location. Thankfully, the Lord provided a wonderful alternative. This year’s National Camp will now meet at Ponca Bible Camp (poncacamp.com) in conjunction with the Arkansas Galilean summer camp. While the venue and date have changed, the heart of the camp remains the same. The National Galilean Camp schedule will still be followed, with some adjustments made to accommodate a few Arkansas traditions and to reflect the extended schedule.

Camp registration will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 1, and we will dismiss on Monday, August 4, following our Monday morning worship service. The full schedule for the National Galilean Camp, along with additional updates, is available at galileans.com.

Some schedule adjustments will be made on Saturday to incorporate the familiar Arkansas Galilean trip to see the elk at dusk in the pastures near the Buffalo River. After that, we’ll hike the Lost Valley Trail, culminating with our Saturday evening worship service under the overhang at Eden Falls. Swim times may also shift slightly to allow time for enjoying the Buffalo River swimming hole.

Our theme for 2025 is “Born Again: In the Name of Jesus,” based on John 3:3-8. We are honored that BMA Global President Dr. John David Smith will serve as our camp pastor.

The camp fee remains $96 per person, which includes lodging and eight meals. Please note that, since the Arkansas Galileans are serving as hosts and covering expenses, checks for the camp fee should be made payable to the Arkansas Galileans. However, any donations for the National Galilean Project should still be made payable to National Galileans.

If your church has boys who’ve never attended a Galilean event, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the ministry firsthand. Even if your church doesn’t currently have an active Galilean program, we invite you to come, connect and see what God is doing through this ministry. There’s something special about gathering in the hills of Ponca.
