We are all set for our spring meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. in the CBC Dining Hall on Friday, March 7. The registration fee is $10 per person.
We will meet, sleep on the floor of the CBC Dining Hall and have our benefit basketball tournament on Saturday morning in the AR Reddin Fieldhouse. Those playing in the basketball tournament will need to pay another $5 ($15 total), which will go toward the Arkansas Galilean CBC Nixon/Hornaday Endowed Scholarship.
A complete schedule for the meeting is posted on the Galilean website at galileans.com. Please consider joining us, even if you do not have a Galilean ministry in your church. Bring some boys (ages 9-18) and enjoy fellowshipping with us, including playing in the basketball tournament.
Our state officers met in January to plan our 2025 meetings and camps. Our theme for 2025 is “God is with Us (Matt. 28:20; Rom. 8:31), Through Anxiety (Phil. 4:6), Through Pain (Isa. 53:4-5) and Through Fear (Isa. 41:10).” “God is with Us” serves as the main theme and the three sub-themes will be the focus for each meeting — Through Anxiety (spring meeting), Through Pain (summer meeting) and Through Fear (fall meeting).
The worship and praise service will occur on Friday evening, and our speaker will be Austen Krisell. Austen is a former Galilean and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier. He graduated from Central Baptist College in 2022 with a degree in Health Sciences, is married to Audrey Krisell and works at Elite Core Audio as a cable technician.
At the close of our basketball tournament, the 2025 Arkansas Mr. Galilean Senior and Mr. Galilean Junior will be announced.
