It was Jesus’ final words, so it must be our first priority — Go and Tell. Using Acts 1:8 as our theme Scripture for the year, we will be hearing from those who truly know about their area of outreach.
Our keynote speaker will be David Dickson, who, along with his wife, Shelly, has spent his life going and telling the gospel of Jesus Christ. You will also be able to pick two breakouts from the following sessions that will remind us to Go and Tell:
• In Jerusalem (At Home) — Diana Morris, a retired elementary music teacher, still teaches children ages two through fifth grade at her church. She knows how to reach the young ones.
• In Judea (In Your Community) — Terrie Triplet has served as her town’s mayor for eight years. She will speak on how to be a witness in our own communities.
• In Samaria (In Your Nation) — Dr. John Adams, executive director of Moral Action, has years of experience interacting with our elected officials at the state and national levels. He will share how we might be an influence on our own senators and congressmen.
• In the Uttermost Parts of the World — Shelly Dickson has worked alongside her husband David for 50 years in spreading the gospel in many different parts of the world. She will share with us how we can be involved.
Registration will begin on April 23 at 8 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas. Our program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and go until noon, with the business meeting being held after lunch. You don’t want to miss our conference.
