Twenty students received degrees from the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas, during commencement exercises held on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The event took place in Dorman Chapel at BMA Seminary in Jacksonville.
William Vance Cawley of Fred, Texas; Demarcus LeCharles Howard of Conroe, Texas; Dustin Lee Huie of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and Guilmar Juarez A Reynoso of Ixcan Playa Grande, Guatemala received the Associate of Divinity degree.
Andrew McKenna Baxter of Athens, Texas; Blake Everett Box of Athens, Texas; May Lin Christina Chiang of Singapore; Cheryl Lou Curry of Jackson, Tenn.; Don Ray Davis, Jr. of Chandler, Texas; Eniowo Adewole Joseph of Ondo State, Nigeria; Dustin Lee Heese of Battle Mountain, Nevada; and Cameron Todd Loe of Magnolia, received the Bachelor of Arts in Religion degree.
Rick A. Kolczak of San Antonio, Texas, and Billy Christopher Williams of Tyler, Texas, received the Master of Arts (Religion) degree. Brian Edward Mauk of Gilmer, Texas, and Michael Morris Styers of King, North Carolina, received the Master of Arts (Pastoral Theology) degree. David Nicholas Ledlow of Vancleave, Miss., received the Master of Arts in Church Ministries degree.
Tanner Scott Choppy of Tomball, Texas; Christopher Dewayne Proctor of Whitney, Texas; and Rafael A. Romero of Tampa, Fla., received the Master of Divinity degree. Charles Johnson, pastor of Rosewood Baptist Church in Gilmer, Texas, and current president of the Baptist Missionary Association of America, presented the commencement address.
