Jeremiah declared, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” (Lam. 3:22-23). Every believer can testify to God’s great faithfulness. J. Danson Smith expressed it like this: “Unto this day God has guarded and guided. Unto this day, He has kept by His grace. Why then should spirit or mind be now shaken? Though future pathways we may not have traced.”

I am fond of the phrase “God conscience” as it speaks to me of God’s presence. Once, when flying, it was raining and gray, and in just a few minutes, that plane burst through the clouds and into the brilliant sunlight.
You see, it was there all the time, just as our Lord is, even when we cannot see or feel Him. “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, he is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Heb. 13:5-6).
This is our final suggestion to help overcome worry. Believe God for every need. Let us go to the Sermon on the Mount. The Lord addresses the matter of anxiety. “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:30,33). Once we understand and truly believe that God cares for the birds and such, we have taken an essential step toward victory over worry. For God can provide for every necessity of life. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19). With that promise, no believer should ever allow himself to be a victim of crippling worry over things of this life.
From Our Missionaries

Ebenezer, West Little Rock: Ruben Isturiz writes, “I want to share with you some encouraging news from our congregation. On Sunday, we had a particularly good turnout of men, which is significant since it is usually a challenge to achieve high participation among Hispanic males in the church.
To celebrate Father’s Day, we gave a small gift to each dad present, and the message focused on ‘David, a man after God’s own heart.’ We also had the pleasure of receiving, for the first time, a lady from Panama named Gladys. We ask for your prayers for her so that she can feel connected and rooted in Ebenezer. She has three children here in the United States and one in Panama.
“During the week, we continued with our workshop ‘Deep Changes.’ This workshop consists of six lessons, and in the first week, we explored the first fundamental question, ‘Why do I need to change?’ The second session was entitled ‘Knowing the Heart.’ We are offering this workshop to three different groups to facilitate participation. One group meets on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. at the Chenal Temple, and the other two groups meet at my home on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. Thanks to these schedules, 11 brothers from Ebenezer have been able to participate in the workshop. We ask you to pray that God will work in the lives of these brothers, producing genuine and lasting fruits in their hearts, beyond superficial changes. Pray for deep transformation in their lives, God be glorified!”

Faith Chapel, Flippin: Johnny Shew writes, “We had another great week at Faith Chapel! Even though some were out sick and some were traveling, we had a pretty good number with one first-time visitor and a great time of worship!
“I was blessed last week with a visit from three old Navy buddies, we have been like brothers for over 50 years, and it was sure great to be able to spend a little time with them! Karen just sat there and laughed so hard at all the stories. It was really a fun time!
“The electrical work on the classroom addition is very close to complete, and the ductwork guys came and got started, so it is still moving along as it should.
“We thank you all again for your prayers and support! It is a blessing from God to know that you spend time in prayer for us and that you make offerings to Him in support of us. We thank you sincerely for that, and we thank God for you all!”

Faith Journey, Benton: Bryan Clay writes, “This week at Faith Journey has been another reminder of God’s faithfulness as we continue to see what He is doing at the Mission. One highlight this week was the opportunity to begin marriage counseling with a young couple preparing for their wedding in November.
It was an honor to open God’s Word together and lay the foundation for a godly marriage — one that is built to last a lifetime. These conversations about love, commitment and biblical principles are key to creating a home that honors Christ.
“Despite the summer vacation season keeping some of our folks away, both our morning and evening services had a great attendance. It’s encouraging the way our mission families continue to show up for one another in worship, prayer and fellowship.
“We also had fun celebrating Father’s Day for our dads at Faith Journey. The ladies and children honored the fathers with gift baskets filled with treats, a Faith Journey Cap, and the reading of Scripture that spoke encouragement into their lives. It was a special time of recognition for the important role fathers have in our families and in our mission.
“Our children’s church continues to thrive and grow. We have new faces often, and our dedicated volunteers are doing an incredible job leading our kids in worship, Bible study and hands-on activities. These young hearts are not only learning about God’s love — they’re experiencing it through the teachings of these amazing volunteers.
“As the mission grows, so do the relationships. People are connecting more deeply, sharing life together and growing in faith. God is truly moving in powerful ways, and we give Him all the glory for what He’s doing at Faith Journey.”

Misión Gracia Soberana (Sovereign Grace), NWA:Roberto Marcelletti writes, “On Monday, the sisters met to organize and price items for our second community event in Springdale, a garage sale scheduled for July. At the end of the day, Patty hosted the sisters at our house for the women’s ministry meeting.
“Thursday, we met with our small group in Springdale. The study focused on the importance of discipleship in the life of a believer as a means to achieve maturity.
“Sunday, we had a good attendance at our Bible school, an extraordinary message was shared by Elton McCaann, where we were told about the importance of obeying the Lord as parents and how it affects the future of our children, we had our second highest attendance since we began our services, glory be to God. We ended with the Father’s Day celebration amidst gifts and a delicious meal prepared by our sisters.”

Epic Life, Pea Ridge: Jake McCandless writes, “We’re still a small church, but the ripples God is creating through us are far greater than our size. This week, both Connection Groups met, and we gathered again in our newly remodeled Room 161.
After worshiping in homes for months, being back together felt like a fresh start. Marty and Charles led worship beautifully, and I shared a message entitled, ‘God isn’t done.’
“We celebrated three salvations this week — three people we’ve been praying for and walking with. Though they’re each now attending other churches, our people were the catalysts God used to lead them to Jesus. These weren’t easy stories. Two, we’ve prayed for since the beginning. One represents a fourth generation in our discipleship model. The ripples are real. God is moving.”

El Faro #2 Hispanic Mission, Cabot/Jacksonville: Michael Hight writes, “Yesterday we shared a good time of worship and Bible Study. We are still meeting every other week.
“We had two home Bible studies started, but they fell through. I continue to ask you to pray for this work. We are facing some unique challenges that I am afraid only time and the power of God will solve.
“I will share more in my insert coming up, but the deportations are creating an atmosphere in the Hispanic community that I have not seen in 20 years of working with them. I remember Paul praying for the Ephesians that they would be ‘strengthened in the inner man.’ Pray for us that we will not lose heart!! God bless you all!”
