Across the globe, there are men, women and children living without access to basic medical care — communities where a simple antibiotic, clean water or a compassionate touch can mean the difference between life and death. In those places, God is at work through Baptist Medical Missions International (BMMI).
BMMI teams are made up of dedicated volunteers — doctors, nurses, pharmacists and laypeople — who serve on short-term mission trips in partnership with local churches and missionaries. But their work is about far more than medicine. It’s about planting churches, reaching the unreached and sharing the love of Jesus in some of the world’s most overlooked places.
