Over the past several weeks, we have shared the 2026 Goals & Prayers from ministries across our association, offering a window into the work God has set before us in the coming year. From missions and ministry training to education, media, stewardship, and church support, these articles have reflected both the opportunities ahead and our shared dependence on the Lord.
This week, we conclude the series by sharing the goals and prayer requests of the Baptist Trumpet itself. As the official publication of the BMA of Arkansas, the Trumpet exists to serve our churches by helping keep them informed, inspired, and involved in what God is doing through our cooperative work. Like every ministry featured in this series, it depends on the faithful prayers and support of churches and individuals who believe in its mission.
As we wrap up this series, we encourage you to continue praying for each of these ministries throughout the year — not as individual works, but as partners in a shared mission. May God use our collective faithfulness in 2026 to strengthen churches, expand gospel reach, and help us move forward together, planting disciple-making churches around the world.
Baptist Trumpet Goals for 2026
• Faithful and timely ministry reporting — Our primary goal is to continue providing accurate, Christ-honoring coverage of BMA churches and ministries that strengthens cooperation and encourages faithfulness across our association.
• Strengthening sustainability and stewardship — Like many ministries, the Trumpet continues to work toward long-term financial stability. In 2026, we are focused on careful stewardship, improved systems, and growing support that will allow this ministry to continue serving churches faithfully and consistently for years to come.
• Expanding accessibility and digital reach — As reading habits continue to change, we want to ensure the Trumpet remains accessible to readers across generations. This includes strengthening digital delivery, improving archive access, and exploring tools that help churches, leaders, and individual readers engage more easily with our content.
Prayer Requests
• Wisdom and discernment — Please pray for wisdom for those who lead and serve through the Trumpet, especially in editorial decisions, financial stewardship, and long-term planning, that we would steward well the trust our churches place in us and serve them with clarity, fairness, and grace.
• Faithful partnerships with churches — Pray that churches would continue to see the Trumpet as a valuable ministry tool and choose to partner with it through prayer, financial support, and participation, including providing the Trumpet to their members through a church plan.
• Clear testimony of God’s work — Above all, pray that the Trumpet would faithfully point readers to Christ and help strengthen churches by clearly communicating how God is at work across our association and through the cooperative efforts of our churches.
We are grateful for the churches, individuals, and ministry leaders who pray for and support the Baptist Trumpet. As we move into 2026, we remain committed to serving our BMA family with integrity, gratitude, and a deep dependence on the Lord.
