Join us for Re:Charge ‘25

By Larry Barker, Vice President for Church Strategy and Training • BMA Global           Pastors, church leaders and spouses, registration is open! Join Healthy Church Solutions and BMA Global for Re:Charge ‘25, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

This year, we’re adding an element of adventure by rotating between churches or “recharge stations.” Everyone will have the opportunity to see three different, nearby churches at work, using unique strategies and a God-sized vision to reach their communities. “Journey Together,” as a reminder you are not alone, and receive spiritual refueling, encouragement and fellowship in the Memphis, Tenn., and South Haven, Miss. area.

Our speaker is Sam Rainer, lead pastor of West Bradenton Baptist Church in Florida, president of Church Answers, and the co-founder and co-owner of Rainer Publishing.

Monday evening, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., we’ll begin at Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake, Miss., and enjoy a catered dinner and a night of worship with artist Michael O’Brien. Tuesday morning, Sept. 30, we’ll fill the tank at Mosaic Church in Memphis, Tenn., with a catered Chick-fil-A breakfast, separate ladies and guys breakouts, and session one with Sam Rainer. The ladies’ breakout will be led by Lori Cline and will be a powerful time of encouragement as she unpacks what it’s been like to walk through cancer, with ever-deepening faith. Men will participate in a men’s ministry panel led by pastors who minister in various settings and understand diverse challenges. Tuesday afternoon is unscheduled free time for you and your spouse, friends or team to rest or explore the Memphis area. Memphis boasts world-famous BBQ, Beale Street, Sun Studios, Graceland, the Peabody Hotel, Memphis Zoo, the Botanic Gardens, Bass Pro Shops in the Pyramid, lots of shopping and more! On Tuesday at 7 p.m., we’ll meet at Central Church, South Haven, Miss., for session two with Sam Rainer and reconvene there again on Wednesday morning to finish strong and fully recharged with session three. Worship will be led by Kent Wiles, of First Baptist Church in Rogers, who led us last year with tremendous passion and energy.

With the summer going fast and the school season and holidays right around the corner, make plans now to get some respite and soul care — Sept. 29-Oct. 1 is a time set aside for you. We want to recognize your efforts, pour into you and your family and help encourage you, so you and your ministry can thrive.

Churches, would you consider blessing your pastor and spouse with registration and hotel as an appreciation gift? You might even come as a church staff or send your youth pastor and his wife. We believe healthier leaders equal a healthier church. So don’t wait! Be part of this leadership retreat and be recharged for the journey ahead! Go to bmaamerica.org/recharge and register today.
