Hi friends! It’s been a little while since our last update, and we’re so thankful for each of you — for your prayers, messages and encouragement in this season. We wanted to share a quick snapshot of what God’s been doing.
• Listening First — This summer, we took June and July to pause. Instead of chasing the “next place,” we asked, “What has God already said yes to?”
One clear “yes” was finishing 4 Questions, the book about simple habits that create space for friendship, spiritual conversation and everyday discipleship. The manuscript is complete and has been filed with the U.S. Copyright Office! We’re eager to see how God might use it to help others live out intentional faith in ordinary life.
• A Home Base for Ministry — Over the last six weeks, we bought a house in Jonesboro and moved in! It came in under budget, which allowed us to begin an addition that will immediately:
• Give our girls (Bear, Cat, Fox and Owl) their own shared bedroom, and
• Open up our main living area so we can better welcome people into our home.
This home isn’t just a house. It’s becoming our ministry base — a place where everyday life and mission overlap.
We’re designing it to host small gatherings, coaching sessions and spiritual conversations around the table. It will also give us a small office and creative workspace for writing, teaching and developing tools that help others live out the 4 Spaces and 4 Questions framework.
We dream that this home would become a place of sending — where future missionaries, planters and everyday followers of Jesus are encouraged, equipped and sent out to their own neighborhoods and networks. (More to come on this as the space takes shape!)
• Where the Mission Is Going — We’re in the process of forming the 4 Spaces Network. The nonprofit that will carry this mission forward. The heart of it remains the same:
• Train new missionaries here in the U.S.
• Send them to overlooked people and places.
• Walk with them through coaching, problem-solving and prayer so they’re not alone.
• Support church planters who are building small, relational, community-first churches.
Locally, we’re already connecting with potential leaders here in Jonesboro. We hope that by early next year, we’ll see the first small steps take root. We’re also teaching the 4 Spaces / 4 Questions habits on Wednesday nights at Temple Baptist Church, which is helping us refine how we equip others.
How You Can Walk With Us
• Pray — Please pray for wisdom as we launch 4 Spaces Network, provision and strength as we finish the house and prepare it for ministry and peace and unity in our home. If you choose one of those to pray over us, we’d love to hear which one.
• Stay Connected — We’re entering a season of travel, coaching and beginning local ministry here in Jonesboro. Your encouragement and presence mean more than you know.
• Financial Partnership — Many have asked if we’re still raising support. Yes, we are. Your giving helps us create margin for ministry and invest in leaders who might not have financial backing. If you feel led to partner monthly or with a one-time gift toward this next season, thank you. You are part of this with us. You can give through our home church at templejonesboro.com/give or through BMA Global at tiny.cc/Morris4Spaces.
We’re grateful to be here, to build something small and faithful and not to do it alone. Please email us at mrrsclntn@gmail.com or clinton@4-spaces.org and let us know how we can be praying for you, too.
