The Arkansas Galileans will gather for their Spring Meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the Central Baptist College (CBC) Dining Hall. Registration is $10 per person and will be collected upon arrival. Registration includes Friday night pizza and Saturday breakfast.
Those attending will meet and spend the night on the floor of the CBC Dining Hall. Participants should bring a sleeping bag or bedding and a pillow. A benefit basketball tournament will take place Saturday morning in the A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. Participants in the basketball tournament are asked to pay an additional $5 ($15 total), with proceeds going toward the Arkansas Galilean CBC Nixon/Hornaday Endowed Scholarship.
A complete schedule for the meeting is available on the Galilean website at galileans.com. Even if your church does not currently have a Galilean ministry, we invite you to join us. Bring some boys (ages 9-18) and enjoy a time of fellowship, worship, and friendly competition through the basketball tournament.
Earlier this year, our state officers met to plan the 2026 meetings and camps. The theme for 2026 is “Foundation of Christ,” based on John 1:1-3. This theme will guide all Galilean gatherings throughout the year, with the following sub-themes:
• “Why Should We Build on Christ” — Matt. 7:24-27 (spring meeting)
• “Who Is He (Our Foundation)” — Eph. 2:19-20 (summer meeting)
• “How We Build on Him” — Col. 2:6-7 (fall meeting)
The worship and praise service will be held Friday evening. Our speaker for the Spring Meeting will be Dr. Billy Crow, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier. He is a graduate of Central Baptist College and Luther Rice College and Seminary. He serves as the director of Biblical Worldview at Conway Christian. He and his wife, Meggin, have two children, Hannah and Eli.
At the conclusion of the basketball tournament on Saturday, an awards ceremony will be held, during which the 2026 Arkansas Mr. Galilean Senior and Mr. Galilean Junior will be announced.
