By Margaret Anderson, Global Missions Coordinator • BMA Global
On Sunday, February 22, churches across our BMA family will gather for World Missions Day, unified to celebrate and support what God is doing among the nations.
Every month, faithful giving from BMA churches sustains missionaries, trains leaders, and strengthens church plants around the world. Because of that steady partnership, the gospel continues to advance in villages and cities, among refugees and university students, in rural communities and global centers.
But World Missions Day is different.
World Missions Day is the moment we lift our eyes together and ask, “Lord, what’s next?”
It is how we invite our churches into new gospel opportunities: reaching Muslim refugees in Europe, supporting house church multiplication in Spain, strengthening leadership initiatives across Africa and Latin America, and sending new ChangeMakers into hard places where the name of Jesus is rarely heard.
Because of your faithful partnership, BMA Global currently serves in 76 countries alongside 28 international missionary families and 21 North American church planters. Through a network of over 400 ChangeMakers, the gospel is advancing through 560 church plants and strengthening 1,952 established churches. In 2025 alone, we celebrated more than 1,500 baptisms and saw over 800 leaders trained for gospel ministry.
These are not just numbers. They represent lives transformed, churches strengthened, and communities reached with the hope of Christ.
Recently, one of our leaders witnessed the baptism of a woman in the Middle East who had come to Christ after asking questions at a community medical clinic. Because of the risk to her family, her baptism took place in a locked and darkened sanctuary with only a few witnesses present. Esther’s obedience could cost her everything. And yet she chose Christ.
Stories like hers remind us why we do what we do.
The gospel crosses boundaries. It overcomes fear. It transforms lives. And once it takes root, it spreads.
Our prayer is simple: 500 churches standing together on Feb. 22 to declare with one voice: The Gospel Changes Everything.
If your church has not yet registered, we encourage you to do so. Pastors, lead your congregation into a moment of shared vision, generous giving, and global impact. Celebrate what God is doing and give to the World Missions Fund so that the next Esther, wherever she may be, can hear the good news of Jesus.
