The Flat Rock Baptist Church in Quitman is hosting revival services August 29-September 3, 6:30 pm nighly. Myle Evan, pastor at Flat Rock, will serve as evangelist.

Eastside Baptist Church in Monticello will host revival services September 4-8, 7 p.m. nighly. Michael Griffith is the evangelist. Carl Hayes serves as pastor.

Central Baptist College is asking churches to set aside this Sunday, or another day which best fits the church calendar, to pray for CBC. Churches are also encouraged to take a on-time offering for the annual fund program, "Gifts that Transform."

The Mt. Vernon District Brotherhood will meet Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Central Baptist Church in Hughes will host the gathering.
