National Galilean Officers Meet to Plan Camp 2022

Kenneth Colvert – The National Galilean Officers met Dec. 11-12 at the beautiful Mount Magazine State Park Lodge and Conference Center to make plans for National Galilean Camp this summer. The meeting was truly a mountaintop experience —physically and spiritually.

The main plans are:

Date: June 24 -27

Place: StoneRidge Baptist Camp Smithville, Ark.

Camp Fee: $88 per camper

Camp Speaker: Larry Tramel

Theme: Seeking the Truth

Theme Scripture: John 17: 17

Dedication of 2022 camp: In Loving Memory of Hank Burroughs

Officers attending were: President Hayden Leonard, First Vice President Charlie Martin, Secretary Aaron Blacksmith, Historian Will Miller, Mr. Galilean Senior Clay Cagle, National Galilean Director Kenneth Colvert and Assistant Director Dan Williams. Adult officers and sponsors present were: James Laminack, Marvin Owen, Rueben Santiago and Larry Tramel. Also attending was Carolyn Colvert, who served the evening meal and her delicious homemade desserts.

Dan and I want to offer a special thank you for the outstanding effort and participation from all who attended. I have made reservations to return to Mount Magazine on Dec. 10-11 to make plans for National Galilean Camp 2023.

The officers hope your church will make plans to attend National Camp this summer and we look forward to seeing you there. Detailed information will be posted on galileans.com. Feel free to contact me about camp or the Galilean Ministry at krcolvert@cox.net or text or call me at (479) 629-3258.
