Is the Philippines open for travel? Can I travel to the Philippines right now? As of Feb. 10, fully vaccinated Americans and tourists from non-visa-required countries will be allowed entry to the Philippines and will not need to quarantine.
Qualified travelers must meet the following requirements: a passport valid for at least six months at the time of arrival, a return or outbound ticket to their country of origin or next country of destination, proof of vaccination (except for children below 18 years of age) and a negative RT-PCR test conducted within 48 hours prior to departure from the country of origin.
From Stan — After two weeks of not teaching, we started back, and you can already feel the “springtime malaise.” It might just be a long six weeks until graduation. A few years ago, some of our teaching staff began working on their master’s degrees through the BMA Theological Seminary. The guys are just a few classes from finishing. Thanks to help from the seminary, I will begin the first Monday in April teaching these men with the goal of finishing them up by May of 2023. Pray with us for these scholars as they study and finish their degrees and help us comply with CHED (Commission on Higher Education) requirements.
From Donna — Student week is lots and lots of work. In the end, it was all worth it as I got to watch the joy and excitement of all the students involved. Of course, we are all excited that the Darlene Carey Christian Academy building will soon be finished. There are still many details to finish up, plus we have to have an inspection and occupancy permit before it is turned over to us. Dedication is set for May 19. Plans are already being made for a summer reading program to help COVID students get caught up, and I’ve been asked to direct an area-wide teacher’s in-service program before school starts in July. This building is a great blessing.
