Pastor Ken Williams of First Baptist Church in McNeil has challenged our church to Extravagant Generosity in 2022. The goal is to give away at least $100,000 this year to missions and other organizations. Bro. Ken has established a Mustard Seed Fund, which members have given in honor or memory of someone, and those funds are used to pay for any fundraising costs incurred so that all the money raised goes directly to the ministry. As part of this challenge, we are hosting a fundraiser for the We Are FREE organization on June 14 at First Baptist Church McNeil’s gymnasium at 6 p.m. We Are Free has served 14 clients in the last 16 months.
We Are FREE is located in Southwest Arkansas, and I volunteer there on a weekly basis. I have a burden to raise $40,000 to pay for a van that will be used to transport the ladies to counseling and doctors’ visits, as well as to church on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
