Water for Christ has announced that the annual Art for Water Gala will be held at The Governor’s Mansion on Tuesday, Oct. 18 with Fashion Designer Linda Thomas as the keynote speaker. Izzy Baughn will serve as emcee for the evening, which will also feature live music, entertainment and a live and silent auction with one-of-a-kind art from popular artists James Hayes, Bryan Massey and more.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Water For Christ, whose mission is to provide sustainable, clean drinking water wells in places of need worldwide and to share the living water of Jesus Christ with people along our journey. “When you meet people’s physical needs, then they will start to listen to you about their spiritual needs,” said Founder and Director of Water for Christ Tim Tyler.
The evening will begin with an Artist Meet and Greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a fine dinner, entertainment and local art with a live and silent auction supporting Water for Christ. Enjoy an evening getting dressed up while also giving water and life to those in need.
