The greatest blessing a missionary can ever experience is second and third-generation ministry leaders who continue to carry out the mission! When we started El Faro, we intentionally built into our DNA the intent to develop leaders who would go on to plant more churches. Now, years later, we are seeing that come to fruition through these men and lady:
• Guilmar Guarez came out of El Faro, and he is now ordained and pastoring La Gran Comisión in Alexander. His spiritual growth continues to amaze me.
• German Galindo was our first baptism at El Faro, and he is now in Mexico preparing his family to plant a church on the outskirts of Mexico City.
• Douglas Pacheco was saved through the ministry of La Gran Comisión, and he is now preaching for BMAA Hispanic Ministry Coordinator and South City Church Discipleship Pastor Elvis Garcia regularly at South City.
• Alma Landin, who was saved through the ministry of El Faro and is a member there, led her mother to the Lord over the phone in Mexico.
• Juan Carlos Posadas was an intern at El Faro. First Baptist Church of Caldwell has extended the arm to the Creciendo en Cristo mission in North Little Rock where Juan Carlos serves as a BMA of Arkansas missionary and has several men studying to be leaders.
The blessings just keep coming! I am so glad you allow me to be a part of this continuing work. I pray that God has many more blessings in store through your Hispanic Missions ministry in Arkansas and beyond.
