Three duffel bags — that’s the current extent of my children’s ministry supplies on a given Sunday. But let me back up.
My name is Candra Barnett, and I am a missionary in Romania. I am working in our third church plant, and God is tremendously blessing our efforts. We had close to 40 adults and 20 children last Sunday, and we are quickly outgrowing the home we are meeting in and the children’s bedrooms that have served as our Sunday School rooms.
Because of this, we have decided to rent a building. The building we have found is perfect, and I will have three children’s classrooms. However, this means I will need more than what I can fit into a duffel bag and bring into a child’s bedroom to do Sunday School! We will need tables and chairs, shelves and rugs and all the things that go into a Sunday School room! That’s where the churches of the BMA come in. I need your help in furnishing these classrooms.
