Skylar Haden, a freshman at Central Baptist College, surrendered to the gospel ministry Aug. 30 and was licensed by Hattieville Baptist Church in Hattieville on Sept. 3. He is the son of Bryson and Jessica Haden, and the grandson of Lavon and Beth Haden (Just the Crumbs). Skylar preached his first message on Oct. 1 at Hattieville Baptist Church, where his dad serves as pastor.
Jack Papera is the new youth minister at LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
Jesse Hales, who was serving as associate pastor, has accepted the senior pastor position at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Plumerville.
