2025 Moral Action Annual Report

By Dr. John M. Adams, Executive Director

In 1994, the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of America met and developed this agency. Purposes and goals for the agency were and are currently:

  • To organize by developing a plan to contact appropriate officials on the state and the national levels.
  • Be informed of proposed legislation affecting our core values.
  • Actively of proposed legislation affecting our core values.

It is obvious that we need to be united and organized for the purposes of protecting our religious freedoms and biblical values by letting our voices be heard. Now, thirty (30) years later, we as an Association actively support:

  • The sanctity of Human Life
  • School sanctity of Human Life,
  • Abstinence-based sex education programs,
  • Voluntary prayer in public schools
  • Public prayer in public schools
  • Biblical decency and morality
  • The rights of parents to rear their children without government intervention
  • The rights of Judeo-Christians to practice their religious beliefs
  • Legislations that promote moral and family values.

We oppose the following

  • Federally funded abortion, euthanasia, condom distribution in school, special rights for Homosexuals and LGBT, and pornography,
  • Any legislation that promotes the decline of Biblical moral values.

Thanks to each church, association, WMA, Brotherhood and individual who has contributed to the ministry. We owe a lot to our military men and women who are at the forefront of liberties that we enjoy every day. We encourage each to consider and contribute to the yearly “Freedom Offering” in July.

Ms. Adams and I request your ongoing prayers. I thank you for the wonderful privilege to be your director. I would also acknowledge First Baptist Church, Mantachie, for sharing its facilities with this ministry.
