Baptist Publishing House (BPH) has released a new quarterly Bible study curriculum designed specifically for students in grades 7–12. This new resource is developmentally appropriate and spiritually enriching, aimed at helping young people grow in both their faith and their understanding of God’s Word.
What Makes It Unique
The curriculum is guided by three key objectives:
• Proclaim the gospel in a clear and compelling way.
• Increase Bible literacy through structured, age-appropriate study.
• Connect Families by aligning student lessons with the Baptist Expositor — the adult curriculum published by BPH — fostering meaningful conversations across generations.
How It Works
Each weekly lesson includes a designated Scripture passage and simplified inductive questions to help students reflect, understand and apply what they’re learning. Lessons follow the “REAL” method:
• Read – Engage directly with the Word of God.
• Examine – Explore the meaning of the text.
• Ask – Consider deeper questions about faith and life.
• Live – Apply biblical truth in everyday living.
Curriculum that Aligns with the Baptist Expositor
As already stated, a key feature of this new student curriculum is its connection to the Baptist Expositor. When students, parents and leaders are studying the same passages each week, it opens the door for cross-generational conversations, shared insights and deeper discipleship within the church body.
