We are grateful to share with you some exciting updates from our ministry here in the Sekute Chiefdom of Southern Zambia. Thank you for your continued prayers and support that make this work possible.

      • Chabantu Baptist Academy (A Growing School) — This term, Chabantu Baptist Academy opened its doors to 154 students, and they are all sponsored! Among them are 17 Grade 7 students who are diligently preparing for their national exams in December. Passing these exams is crucial, as it will allow them to advance to Makunka Secondary School.

To help with this transition, we’ve launched a project to provide bicycles for every Grade 7 student who passes. With a bike, their daily commute to secondary school will take 45 minutes instead of an exhausting two-hour walk. We are excited to see how God will use this opportunity to open doors for their future.

      • Discipleship Training Resumes — After returning from furlough and sending off several ministry teams, we are thankful to have discipleship training back on track. Investing in local believers and equipping them with the Word remains at the heart of our mission. Please continue to pray for wisdom and fruit as we walk alongside these brothers and sisters in Christ.

      • A Baptistery for the Church — We are thrilled to announce the completion of a new baptistery, built just behind the church building! Over the next two weeks, several individuals will be attending baptism class in preparation for this important step of faith. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen and encourage each one as they publicly proclaim their commitment to Christ.

         • New Storage Facility — Construction on our cellar and storage building is nearly complete. This space will help us better manage ministry resources and supplies, serving both the church and the school. The cellar also brings with it the ability to salt-cure and hang meat in preparation for putting it in the new smokehouse — a huge step forward in food preservation and sustainability here in the village. We are especially thankful for the mission team from Romania, whose hard work and generosity made both the cellar and the smokehouse projects possible. These resources will be a blessing for years to come.

Prayer Requests

      • Pray for the discipleship training sessions that those attending would grow deep roots in their faith.

      • Pray for the Grade 7 students as they prepare for exams and for the provision of bicycles for those who pass.

      • Pray for the upcoming baptisms, that each participant will stand boldly for Christ.

      • Pray for continued progress and provision as the storage building is finalized.

      • Pray for funds for a new vehicle, which is essential for ministry travel, school support and reaching remote villages with the gospel.

We are humbled and encouraged by how the Lord continues to move here in Zambia. Thank you for standing with us in prayer and partnership as the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed.
