Thank you for your continued support. As this year comes to a close, we’re grateful for the opportunity to share a few glimpses from our mission field — and some of the new things God seems to be setting in motion.
• Life on Our Street — Over the past few months, we’ve been spending intentional time with the neighbors God has placed around us, and it’s been encouraging to watch relationships begin to grow.
We have Christian neighbors on our left who have truly been a gift. On our right is a family that breeds pit bulls — full of energy and life. Across the street is a man who recently lost his job, and two doors down is a woman walking through some heavy battles. Every house carries its own story, and we’re grateful that God has placed us here to love the people right in front of us. God has us here for these neighbors. Who has God placed around you?
• A Season of Prayer — As we look ahead, the next two months are set aside intentionally for prayer. We’re praying for new leaders, for clarity in where to begin, and for the foundations that need to be set before anything launches.
We’re also praying that we can finish our house addition within the next two months. This space is key — not just for our family, but for the communities and gatherings we feel called to host. We’re asking God to continue introducing us to our neighborhood, to deepen our reach here in Jonesboro, and to help us invest ourselves fully into the projects He has uniquely shaped us for.
• The House and What’s Coming — We’re hopeful that we’re only about two months away from completing the house addition. This new space already feels like God is opening doors for relationships we haven’t even stepped into yet.
We’re also stepping into a season of training leaders — men and women who feel called to reach their neighborhoods with the gospel and are hungry for a smaller, home-based expression of ministry. If that’s you, or someone you know, we’d love to walk alongside you.
• Nerd Culture and Mission Field — We’re beginning to make plans to reach our particular mission field, and the next two months are dedicated to prayer and discernment. We know the house addition plays a central role in what’s coming, creating space for community, questions, friendship and faith.
We’re also considering ways to engage the college campus and to open our home to students — a place where conversations can happen naturally and relationships can form around shared life.
• 4 Spaces and 4 Questions — My book, 4 Questions, is finished. We’re currently waiting on the government to issue the copyright number, but the Kindle pre-order is already live on Amazon: tinyurl.com/4-spaces.
At the same time, the 4 Spaces Network is beginning to take shape. The nonprofit is being formed over the next two months, with the goal of training micro-church planters to reach their communities with intentional, relational mission.
