The Southwest District Girls Missionary Auxiliary (GMA) met on Oct. 11, 2025 at First Baptist Church (FBC) in Waldo. The theme for the year was “Oh, the places you will go with God.”
President Madison Miller led the meeting. The annual election of officers for the 2025-2026 year was held with the following officers elected:
President — Madison Miller (FBC, Waldo)
First Vice President — Hope Bavin (College View, Magnolia)
Second Vice President — Brooke Hanson (FBC, Waldo)
Recording and Corresponding Secretary — Dixie Almand (FBC, Waldo)
Song Leader — Kourtney Williams (College View, Magnolia)
Goal Chairman — Abigail Burchfield (College View, Magnolia)
Attendance Chairman Kyle Johnson (FBC, Taylor)
The 2025-2026 project goal is the Quillmans in Africa — special fund for missions projects.
There will be a meeting for counselors and officers of the Southwest District GMA on Jan. 10 at FBC, Waldo. Also, Jr. Miss and Miss GMA interviews will be held at the Jan. 10 meeting. The first Southwest District GMA meeting of the new year will be on Jan. 24 at FBC, Taylor.
