As last year has come to a close and a new one has started, we want you to know how grateful we are for each of you. Whether you have prayed for us, encouraged us with messages, supported the work financially, or simply carried this mission in your heart, you have been part of what God has done here in Zambia. We don’t take that lightly, and we wanted to begin by saying thank you.
This year in Zambia has been steady, stretching, and deeply encouraging. In several villages, small Bible study groups began forming — sometimes with only a few people at first. They gathered simply to open Scripture and ask questions. There was no rush to call it a church, no pressure to make it look established. Over time, something beautiful happened. Faith took root naturally, and people kept coming back.
From those gatherings, lives changed quietly. Some men and women heard the gospel clearly for the first time. Others had believed for years but had never taken the step of baptism. This year, both new believers and long-time believers stepped into the water. These moments were simple and sincere, filled with joy and reverence. They reminded us that God is always working, even when the fruit takes time to appear.
We also spent meaningful time with local leaders. Many of them have been faithfully serving their communities long before we arrived. Our time together focused on Scripture, church leadership, and how to shepherd people well. What stood out to us most was their humility and desire to lead faithfully. Seeing churches grow stronger through local leadership has been one of the year’s greatest encouragements.
At the same time, daily needs were being met in practical ways.
• Because of school sponsorship, children were able to attend classes, easing a heavy burden for their families. Education has brought stability to homes and renewed hope for what lies ahead.
• Clean water reached villages that had gone without it for generations. Watching families draw safe water from a well for the first time is something that never grows old. It changes health, restores dignity, and brings relief that words cannot fully capture.
This year, several families faced serious challenges. Through timely support, they were able to stay on their feet. Some of the greatest moments of grace are never seen publicly, but we are grateful for what God quietly protected and preserved.
As we reflect on the year, we don’t feel rushed to say what’s next. New relationships were formed. Foundations were strengthened. Trust was built. The work here is not moving quickly, but it is moving steadily and being shaped to last.
Those who have walked with us this year — through prayer, encouragement, and faithful support — have been part of every story shared here. Your partnership has allowed the work to continue in a way that is steady, healthy, and deeply rooted. Thank you for caring about what God is doing in these villages.
We step into the coming year with confidence — not because of our plans, but because of God’s faithfulness. The work continues, and hope is already growing.
