Baptist Publishing House

By Jordan M. Tew, Executive Director

Baptist Publishing House (BPH) is the publications ministry of the Baptist Missionary Association, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve local churches by providing faithful ministry resources and solid Sunday School curriculum for all ages. Our mission is simple: to equip churches with biblically sound materials that help make disciples and strengthen the work of local churches and our association as a whole.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited about several projects currently in development — each designed with churches, families, and individuals in mind.

One of our major initiatives involves reworking the Guide to God Outreach Bibles into three focused booklets. These booklets will provide churches with useful tools to lead people to Christ, disciple them, and meaningfully join a church.

      • The first will be a Gospel of John, featuring a clear and thorough gospel presentation along with practical helps for new believers — especially guidance in finding a biblical church and avoiding false churches and false religions.

      • The second booklet will walk new believers through the very first steps of discipleship, offering simple and biblical direction for spiritual growth.

      • The third will help both new and existing members of BMA churches better understand what a BMA church is, how Baptist associations function, and how our national departments serve churches.

We are also developing a new Brotherhood curriculum designed to help men grow in doctrine, church ministry, and family leadership. Our prayer is that this material will encourage men to step up as godly leaders — stronger church members, faithful husbands, and loving fathers. We are currently writing three years’ worth of material and hope to have the first book ready by the National Meeting or shortly thereafter. We are pleased to partner with the BMA’s Brotherhood ministry.

In addition, we are proud to introduce our newest book, Ministry Across the Spectrum: Autism, Faith, and the Local Church. This resource provides practical help for families, pastors, and churches who desire to minister more effectively to individuals with autism and their families. The book includes several sections for training volunteers and church members, while also emphasizing the importance of clearly sharing the Gospel and demonstrating God’s love to autistic individuals.

As we continue to grow, we have some very real needs:

         • We need churches to include the Baptist Publishing House in their regular giving. Monthly gifts currently make up about 25% of our budget, and we truly cannot exist without this support. Giving was down slightly last year, and the need for support remains.

         • We need churches to commit to using the BPH curriculum. These materials are created for you, with the goal of strengthening your teaching and discipleship ministries. Other publishers do not write BMA curriculum, nor do they exist to serve your local church. However, these things are our priorities.

         • Finally — and most importantly — we need your prayers. Our writers, editors, proofreaders, and support staff work diligently to serve churches well. As our ministry grows, so does the workload, and we are grateful for every prayer offered on our behalf.

Thank you for your continued partnership, encouragement, and faithfulness. We look forward to all that God will do through Baptist Publishing House in the days ahead.
