You are invited to join us for a Missions Luncheon at First Baptist Church, McNeil, on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 11:30 a.m. The following day has been designated by BMA Global Missions as World Missions Day, making this a timely opportunity to focus on missions. We are excited to host Sharon Quillman, missionary to Zambia; Jimmy Walker, returning missionary to the Philippines; and David Dickson, South America coordinator. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear from each of our guests.
As members of the BMA of America, we have the opportunity and privilege to promote missions, and this luncheon will be an informative time to hear from and speak with these missionaries. In addition, we hope to raise funds to support their work and will host a silent auction during lunch. Suggested items include themed baskets prepared by your church or individual donated items. Time will be provided to view the auction items before the luncheon concludes.
Another way to participate is by hosting and filling a table. Tablecloths, centerpieces, glassware, and silverware will be provided. We ask that participating ladies provide the dishes, including plates, bowls, and cloth napkins. These are the only items needed. Please consider being part of this association-wide luncheon.
Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can prepare accordingly. This event is a joint endeavor of First Baptist Church in Waldo and First Baptist Church in McNeil. For more information or to RSVP, contact Pastor Ken Williams at (972) 978-1106 or Kelly Williams at (214) 534-9875 by phone or text.
Thank you, and we pray you will consider attending and inviting others from your church to join you.
