Our theme this year is “Cultivate” from Gal. 6:9. We will focus on preparing our hearts, minds, bodies and spirits for service! Our keynote speaker for Saturday is Yalanda Merrell, director of Audience Engagement at Lifeword. Angela Wisely from First Baptist Church in Magnolia will lead our worship! Both ladies will bless our hearts!
Registration for both days of the retreat is $60 and includes a t-shirt, devotional book, Friday night “make and take” and Saturday lunch. Snacks will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, provided by the Arkansas WMA officers. Fun and fellowship activities will begin at 6 p.m., and there will be prizes! Our make-and-take activity will be a “gift in a jar.” You can make one for yourself and one to give away. We ask each lady to bring a quart jar.
If you need a room for Friday night, the Comfort Suites at 705 Museum Rd., Conway, is offering a group rate of $114 per night for a suite with two queen beds. A hot breakfast is included. After that, the rate increases to $165 per night.
Saturday’s lunch will be held in the CBC cafeteria, prepared by CBC’s Director of Dining Services Billie Rodriguez and her staff. We will continue the tradition of a silent auction during lunch, with the proceeds supporting the Arkansas State WMA Project and the Morgan Grace Church plant in Utah. We ask that you consider bringing a themed basket or any items for the auction. Some fun basket ideas include gardening baskets, family movie nights, family game nights, s’mores making kits, scrapbooking starter kits, baking baskets, and seasonal or holiday baskets. Let your imagination run wild!
Please come and bring a group of ladies with you! We will worship, pray, laugh and maybe even cry as we come together to connect and create lasting memories!
