BMA Financial exists to help pastors, churches, and ministries stay focused on what matters most — making disciples and advancing the gospel. As our association emphasizes the vision of “Together, Planting Disciple-Making Churches Around the World,” our role is to come alongside those doing the front-line work and help build the financial stability that supports long-term ministry. In 2026, we’re committed to equipping ministers for the future, resourcing churches for wise stewardship, and expanding mission funding that will outlast all of us.
Top Goals for 2026
• Bring 10 new churches into the BMA America Retirement Plan. When pastors are cared for and prepared well for the future, they can lead with less financial stress and greater freedom. Strong, healthy pastors serve strong, healthy churches — an essential foundation for planting and multiplying disciple-making congregations.
• Continue developing BMA Financial into a financial discipleship ministry. Our goal is to help churches and ministers handle God’s money in a way that aligns with Scripture and fuels mission. Biblical stewardship creates margin, reduces strain and allows churches to invest more intentionally in disciple-making efforts both locally and globally.
• Expand the work of the BMA Foundation by promoting legacy giving. Legacy generosity from individuals and churches provides long-term financial strength for missions. These gifts help ensure that the work of planting disciple-making churches can continue until Christ returns, regardless of economic cycles or immediate budgets.
Top Prayer Requests
• Pray for pastors and church leaders to lean into biblical stewardship. Healthy stewardship strengthens families and churches and frees ministry resources to support disciple-making work across the BMA.
• Pray for open doors as we work to bring new churches into the retirement plan. As more churches participate, more pastors can serve with confidence and longevity — directly supporting the health and stability needed for church planting and discipleship multiplication.
• Pray that God will raise up individuals and churches with a heart for legacy generosity. Long-term mission funding is crucial if we truly intend to plant and sustain disciple-making churches around the world for generations.
