Charlotte Johnson ( National WMA President) – The National WMA Women’s Conference will be held on April 19 at Grandview Baptist Church located at 3208 N Barnes Ave. in Springfield, Mo. The theme for the meeting is, “Intentional,” taken from Eph. 5:15-16: “See that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. followed by a short business meeting. The conference will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude around 3 p.m. Our guest speaker, Judy Biggers, from Springfield, Ark., is a founding member of the Southern Gospel Quartet, Heaven’s Echoes, singing lead for 36 years. She has been married to her husband, Gus for 39 years and they have 3 girls (2 on earth and 1 in Heaven) and 3 grandchildren. Judy desires to inspire everyone she meets with God’s Word through song.
The following breakout sessions will be available:
• “Intentional with Faith” led by Kelly Johnson
• “Intentional with Hospitality” led by Diana Morris
• “Intentional with Discipleship” led by Mandi Townsend
• “Intentional Transformation” led by Judy Wallace
Lunch will be provided at the church for $15 per person. Please send a check made out to National WMA to Charlotte Johnson, 1044 S.
