David G. Johnson, 70 of Greenbrier, passed away July 29, 11 days after Sue, his wife of 50 years, passed away. David loved the Lord, his family, his church, the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing softball and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. He retired from Arkansas Farm Bureau and was serving as pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Bee Branch.
Survivors include: his sons, David Mark Johnson and Brent Lee (Anna) Johnson; a sister, Virginia (Bob) Moore; a brother, Uriel (Judy) Johnson; and two granddaughters, Adelynn LeeAnn Johnson and Brynlee Elizabeth Johnson.
A funeral service was held at South City Church in Little Rock on Aug. 3. Interment was at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (rollerfuneralhomes.com/conway).
