This year’s associational meeting list includes the number of churches (in parentheses) after the name of the association. I encourage you to reach out to those in your local association who have not been active in recent years to give a personal invitation to attend and help your local association do more for the kingdom of God. Before you say, “I’ve tried that before,” let me urge you to keep trying. The involvement in our association from the local level to the national level is essential if we are going to continue to fulfill the Great Commission as we work together to take the gospel across the street and around the world.
In the April 19 issue of the Baptist Trumpet, we included a four-page insert about the history and importance of active involvement in our association. We are working on a survey we will be sharing for all BMA pastors to help us follow up on this report. Our goal is to encourage conversations about how we can make our association of churches the best it can be.
The following is a list of this year’s annual Arkansas local association meetings. The list includes the name of the association with the number of churches in the association according to the 2022 Directory and Handbook in parentheses, the date, time and location of the meeting and the name of the moderator (if available). After running here, the listings will appear in future issues in the District Calendar column with any updates or additional information that becomes available.
