When you obey, a quiet beauty emerges, drawing you into deeper faith, community and the unknown. Last month, our family took another step of faith — we’ve officially moved full-time into the village.
For years, we’ve driven miles of dusty roads back and forth between the mission field and town, carrying water, Bibles and a thousand prayers. But now, the mission field is not just where we go — it’s where we live. We wake to the sound of roosters, laughter from children, and the rhythmic songs of people whose faith is raw, real and growing. It’s here, in this new chapter, that God is writing something extraordinary.
• Discipling the Next Generation — I’m now walking closely with four young men who are hungry to grow in Christ. We meet under trees and sometimes in the simple stillness of the early morning. We work together, talk about Scripture, life, temptation and calling. Pray that these men would not only understand the Word, but become living reflections of it.
• Planting Our Roots in Faith — Moving to the village has been both humbling and beautiful. There are challenges — unreliable power, long walks for supplies and the daily adjustments of simple living — but there’s also peace here. A peace that comes when you know you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
How You Can Pray With Us
Your prayers are not background noise — they are the unseen force that carries this mission forward. Here’s how you can join us in prayer this month:
• Deeper Discipleship — Pray for the three young men I’m discipling to grow in faith, character and courage.
• Pastor Training — Pray for wisdom and insight as we equip pastors to lead strong, multiplying churches.
• Village Transition — Pray for our family as we adjust fully to life in the village — strength, health and peace in every day.
• Provision and Sustainability — Pray for resources to build the mission team house and training center so that more can be equipped and sent.
• Open Hearts in New Villages — Pray for spiritual breakthrough as we reach out to neighboring communities that have never heard the gospel.
• Endurance and Joy — Pray that we would continue to serve with joy, even in the hard days, trusting God to finish what He started.
Every prayer you pray builds something eternal here — brick by brick, soul by soul. Thank you for walking this journey with us. Your love, support and prayers make it possible for us to live and serve among the people we love so deeply.
