Featured Language: Idoma

The Idoma people are an ethnic group primarily located in Benue State, Nigeria, with a rich culture shaped by agriculture, strong family ties, and deep respect for community and tradition. Traditionally, Idoma beliefs center on a supreme creator, ancestral reverence, and spiritual forces, though today many Idoma blend Christian ideas with cultural spiritual practices and beliefs. Dickson Daniel, Lifeword’s Idoma Language Partner, commits to producing weekly devotionals in the Idoma language to teach the Idoma people about the truth of Jesus and the Gospel. Please pray for Bro. Dickson as he faithfully carries out the Great Commission through media in his country.

Pray With Us

Please join our US Lifeword Staff in praying for our 2026 goals:

         • Pray for the Gospel to Reach More Heart Languages — Ask God to guide and provide as Lifeword grows from 175 to 185 broadcast languages.

         • Pray for FOLLOW Discipleship to Advance Worldwide — Lift up the completion of Arabic and Romanian translations of FOLLOW and the launch of this discipleship platform across the Philippines.

         • Pray for the New Missionary Training Facility in the Philippines — Pray for wisdom, provision, and protection as Lifeword builds a new training center and studio, equipping pastors, missionaries, and leaders for both media ministry and traditional missions throughout Southeast Asia.

         • Pray for the Launch of an English-Language Children’s Program — Ask God to bless the creation of Lifeword’s first English children’s program, that young hearts would come to know, love, and trust God’s Word.

         • Pray for Expanded Giving Pathways — Pray for clarity and unity as Lifeword develops new and simplified ways to give.
