The Risners are back, and we are hitting the ground running! But I wanted to take some time to update you all on how my holidays were here, as well as share some important prayer requests for upcoming ministry opportunities!

This year was my first Thanksgiving without the Risners, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous. I should have known better, however, for the Lord provided in abundance! I had over 30 people in my small house for a huge feast. It was beautiful and loud and absolutely perfect! Thank you for your prayers for me during this time!

Before the holidays started, I was able to sneak away to Brasov to visit our dear friends at Return church plant. I can’t describe to you the joy of seeing how Return has grown over the years. They have been faithful through ups and downs, and God is blessing this work! Please continue to pray for this church plant as they continue to make God’s name famous in Brasov!

Every year, Pam and I bake hundreds of Chocolate Chip cookies to pack in boxes and deliver around the city! This year, I was on my own and decided to employ some elves in my delivery system. Instead of focusing on various businesses across town, I asked each of our teenagers to give a box to someone — a lost friend, someone on the street, a cashier at a local grocery store. It could be anyone who didn’t live in their home. The teens were excited (especially as I also gave them a box to keep!), and I was so proud of them for embracing this small act of kindness.
